SIMULATOR COMPLEX
Along with the state-of-the-art training aviation academy in Visakhapatnam, AAL will also be establishing a flight simulator facility. Flight simulator is a virtual reality device or an equipment that creates an artificial environment and flight for the training of the pilot and other purposes. The flight simulator allows the pilot or the flight crews to have hands-on experience of flying the flights in a safer and secure way. Similarly, the pilots will be able to practice in different complex situations that might not be accepted in environmental terms. It also helps to learn about, how the aircraft reacts to external factors such as air density, turbulence, wind shear, cloud, precipitation, etc. Flight simulation is used for a variety of reasons, including flight training, the design and development of the aircraft itself, and research into aircraft characteristics and control handling qualities. It has gained a lot of significance over the years in both military and commercial flight training.
Asia-Pacific region is expected to emerge as the one of the fastest growing markets in coming years due to growing economies such as China and India. We are going to see an increased number of flights, air traffic and the need for perfectly trained staff that can overcome any difficult or unforeseen scenarios. Understanding the importance of flight simulation training, AAL is determined to include this in training for all of its students and trainees.
With the simulator instructors approved by DGCA, AAL, will be using modern European based training methodology and systems, very experienced instructors, fully equipped aircrafts and provide quality pilot training for all its students and trainees. AAL will be using simulator technology in cooperation with several Training Organizations and Airline Companies such as: Air India, Indigo, Air Asia, Go Air, Etihad, True Jet, Czech Aviation Training Centre, ATR, and more.
